Bauhaus Butterfly Sun Modernist
This vintage-style Chinese movie poster reimagines a classic film ad with bold Bauhaus geometry: a symmetrical butterfly built from overlapping circles and translucent wings in forest green and golden yellow, balanced against a warm burnt orange sun and aged cream paper background. Bold black Chinese typography anchors the top of the composition, giving the piece the aspirational, balanced harmony of 1930s graphic design merged with mid century wall art sensibility. The layered geometric forms and muted, earthy palette make this butterfly wall art feel both nostalgic and strikingly modern.
This piece brings quiet sophistication to a living room art wall, a reading nook, or a study, and it makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves vintage graphic design, art deco composition, or mid century art. It also pairs beautifully in a gallery wall alongside other geometric wall art pieces for a cohesive, curated look.
