Hiroshige Tiger Print
Utagawa Hiroshige's "Basketry Work: By the Craftsman Ichida Shōshichirō of Naniwa" is a captivating Edo period woodblock print featuring a serene monk seated on a tiger amidst a whimsical menagerie of animals and figures. This Japanese art masterpiece showcases Hiroshige's skill in capturing folkloric scenes with intricate detail and vibrant color on a distinctive lattice background.
Perfect as a statement piece for your apartment decor, this large wall art brings the rich heritage of Tokyo's Edo period into modern spaces. The quirky composition—combining a tiger, chickens, horses, and human figures—makes it ideal for collectors seeking unique Japanese wall art. Whether displayed in a cabin retreat, gallery wall arrangement, or as a housewarming gift for art lovers, this woodblock print adds cultural depth and visual intrigue.
Each print is digitally reproduced on archival-quality paper, preserving the authenticity of Hiroshige's original Japanese poster aesthetic. The asian wall art style complements both maximalist and eclectic interiors, making it a versatile choice for those who appreciate japanese art print traditions and historical narrative scenes.
