Josef Albers Retrospective Exhibition Poster
Josef Albers brings his 1971 Metropolitan Museum of Art retrospective to life in this nested-square composition, where warm mustard yellow glows from the center of soft mauve, taupe, and cream frames. Rendered with the precise, meditative geometry that defines his Homage to the Square studies, this bauhaus print captures a quiet, contemplative mood built entirely from color and proportion. It is a striking piece of geometric wall art that carries real museum print credibility straight from an iconic exhibition.
This calm, minimalist composition suits a living room decor scheme, a reading nook, or an office decor setup where clean lines help focus the mind, and it makes a thoughtful gift for anyone drawn to wabi sabi simplicity or japandi restraint. Fans of constructivism and classic modern wall art will recognize Albers' influence immediately, and this piece is currently trending now among collectors of vintage poster design.
