Matcha Tea Ceremony Floral Study
This serene tea ceremony still life captures a matcha bowl and bamboo whisk resting beneath blossoming branches, rendered in the flattened shapes and speckled texture of traditional Japanese woodblock and linocut printing. Sage green, coral pink, dark teal, and cream come together in a quietly contemplative composition, with soft purple accents on the little confections beside the bowl grounding the botanical calm of the scene. The chawan's painted floral pattern echoes the blossoms above, tying the whole piece into one gentle, unified moment.
This piece brings japandi decor warmth to a living room, kitchen nook, or meditation corner, and makes a thoughtful tea lover gift for anyone drawn to traditional japanese art and mindful rituals. It also suits anyone building out a zen garden inspired space or curating asian food print imagery in their home.
